A-Z dating: G
Due to life getting cray cray busy throughout April and May (weekends away, weddings, my birthday) A-Z dating kinda got away from us, so we’re a bit off track to do them all by the end of the year, but we’ll still give it our best shot!
The last date I wrote about was E date, where I took bf to Eight at the Langham. After that he took me on a ‘Funny’ date - to the comedy festival.
Then it was my turn: G
A couple of Saturdays ago we drove out to the airport to a 24 hour golf driving range. We’d been to another one once before and the bf was annoyed there were no drivers to hire. I rang ahead at this one and luckily they did have some. We actually went just as the sun was going down and got to see a beautiful sunset. The bf was far better than I, hitting the balls at least 200m. Meanwhile, ONE of mine rolled to that sign you see there, which is 60m. A whole bunch of those ones in the foreground there? Yeah. Mine.

By the time we finished at the driving range it was FREEZING and I’d purposely made us have an early lunch with no opportunities to snack, so we were nice and hungry, and ready for our final stop - Gorgeous New York Pizza Bar.

Due to a wee bit of overindulgence the night before, I stuck to coke during our visit, but the bf enjoyed a Peroni while we nommed on some delicious garlic bread. Seriously, I cannot resist garlic bread.

All of the pizzas there are named after models (the place is called Gorgeous…geddit??).
We had a R E A L L Y hard time choosing which pizza we wanted, but luckily for us, they do half and half! WIN!
In the end we went with:
Sophia - Bacon, sliced roasted potato, spring onion, pesto, mozzarella
Kirsten - Chorizo, garlic, feta, peppadew peppers, mozzrella
Here they are:

Although both were amazing, it’s definitely a win for Sophia. And a win for Gorgeous - I’m glad it’s local as we will definitely be repeat visitors. Not just for the food either - the service was really friendly, and with the kitchen in the restaurant, the cheffy people welcomed you and were great. Throughout our time there people came and went, and the chefs new many by name and order - if that doesn’t say how great this place is, I don’t know what would!
This weekend the bf has booked me in for H date. No idea where, but I’m excited!
